Recognition
of Prior Learning (RPL)
We recognise that some people wishing to undertake the
Psychotherapy Training Program may have already completed formal training
in psychotherapy and have practice experience. A Recognition of Prior
Learning (RPL) process may enable entry with advanced standing for suitably
qualified applicants to the second year of the SPIA Psychotherapy Training Program.
To obtain RPL you will need to make a formal application
to have your prior learning assessed and pay a fee to cover expenses
involved in the assessment process. You will be required to provide specific
evidence of your prior learning in each subject area. A qualified RPL
assessor will evaluate your application. The assessor will be available
to provide advice about putting together a folio of this evidence.
