| Psychotherapy Training Program: Entry Requirements Students may be accepted into the course from a range of backgrounds. Applications are welcomed from people who have tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, medicine, nursing or counselling, or with equivalent work and life experience. In order to be accepted into the programme, applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the process of training in psychotherapy and the personal qualities to enable them to practice effectively as a psychotherapist, as well as the necessary skills to engage in the course work effectively.
